Lead visual: AI-generated illustration of digital cultural-heritage protection.
Warsaw · 24–25 June 2025
The RITHMS coordinator’s team from the Centre for Cultural Heritage Technology at the Italian Institute of Technology presented the project at the Security Research Event 2025, with support from the European Software Institute.
Testing research against operational needs
Live, case-based demonstrations gave researchers, policymakers and practitioners an opportunity to explore the platform’s potential for investigating illicit trade in cultural goods. Feedback from these sessions helped inform its development.
The programme also included a screening of the project documentary Threads of Heritage: Down the Rabbit Hole of Art Crime.
RITHMS is funded by the European Union, grant 101073932.
